I really dont know Pearce, but I have had twins hatch before. Time will tell.

I am assuming you candled the egg that had twins before. Did it look different? I am assuming it would have to.

and here is a disabled budgie that a friend has given me for Libby too. She is a lovely show type hen who can only get around on her "elbows".

I saw her climb a ladder the other night and she can perch when she wants to. Her legs and feet dont work.

Libby has offered her a new home with her.

Timid and quiet ? All budgies look that way if they are still enough for a photo Matt. ;) BUT show types are a lot easier to handle than pet types.

I put 8 of the kindie cage babies out in the aviary yesterday morning as they were doing so well and needed space to fly.
