April 7, 200916 yr Hi Ian, Welcome to the forum!! Hope you find it very informative. It is a great place to come and learn from each other.
April 7, 200916 yr Hi Ian how many budgies do you have and are they male or female? I am new here too but finding it very addictive
April 8, 200916 yr Author well its not the best picture but you can see the 3 females on the left on 3 males on the right. I have 2 more in the other cage but they will be moved into another cage tomorrow for breeding purposes I have 8 budgies now, 4 wieros and 1 rainbow lorikeet Edited April 8, 200916 yr by Ian
April 8, 200916 yr Author Your yellow face opaline cock is pretty!!!! Thankyou, here are some more pics
April 8, 200916 yr Ian, How many birds are currently in the cage? Are any tiels still in the cage with the budgies? What about the lorikeet? I would remove the nesting boxes because theirs not enough room in the cage for breeding 3 sets of budgies + tiels. Nesting boxes in colony style breeding should be ATLEAST 1 foot apart, all same height and same style. Otherwise they will fight.
April 8, 200916 yr I have to agree with Pearce about the nesting boxes in that kind of space I am afraid
April 8, 200916 yr Author there are 6 in that avery.. the wieros are in another avery and the lorikeet is in its own cage, ill remove the nesting boxes today cheers
