March 27, 200916 yr Author Yes the hen is a spangle. Thankyou all. Yeah I am getting alot of hens this season, Used to be the other way around.
March 28, 200916 yr I love the yellow faces, and the spangles. Is that what an opaline spangle looks like - back of the last photo? It's funny, I used to dislike yellow faces, but they've really grown on me. The yellow against grey looks so soft and subtle. Hey Pearce, what's that over there?
March 28, 200916 yr Author Hes a normal, the picture is no good and its hard to tell. But yeah I like him to
March 28, 200916 yr Hes a normal, the picture is no good and its hard to tell. But yeah I like him to  Oh, you're right.. I didn't look close enough (didn't look at the back, just the wings, silly). See? I'm still bad with opaline. In a few months I'll look back and be embarrassed because it's so easy. But I don't mind if he's not, normal's fine by me. Oldest trick in the book and you fell for it! Edited March 28, 200916 yr by Emma
April 1, 200916 yr Author No she is a bought bird from a mate of mine. She is 5 years old and is sadly too old to breed... I tried her once and nothing happened so I put it down to age and retired her. I would of loved her chicks. Everyone comments about her, all good comments too. Edited April 1, 200916 yr by Pearce
April 1, 200916 yr Author I will have to ask the breeder about that one. She has never had any chicks before. He bought her from an auction for big big money and she didnt breed for him. So I took a shot.
