Posted March 24, 200916 yr Hi guys - lovely to be part of this community and i'm sorry if i seem pushy and impatient...but i recieved a lovely pair of birds for my birthday. i have previously bred budgies and cockatiels in the past in an aviary environment but that was some 15/20 years ago. the pair are in in our living room with regular outings around the room and adjacent rooms - the female, i consider is a bit older than the male. and on a couple of occasions when i've noticed him on the top outside of the cage and her on the 'ceiling' of the inside he has been noticibly 'rubbing' himself on the bars!. and lately she seems to be a little more plump in the rump area...a sign i remember all too well. so with that in mind...can any one point me towards a relevant thread / post that can advice me on the best course of action...re if preggers then should i remove the egg/eggs and if so what to do re temp? i clean regularly, would this disrupt if she is sitting? my queestions could be endless...your advice would be priceless. many thanks

March 25, 200916 yr Hi there is great to have you here I am going to shoot some questions at you so we can help with your answers :lightbulb: How old are the pair?? you say they are young, how young?? Do they have a nest box? is the hen nesting?? Have you got any photos of the pair and their setup we can see?
March 25, 200916 yr I think that you should answer Liv's questions, as well as think if there are any places that they might view as nesting spaces in the room in which you let them fly in.
