Cheap Mouse Trap

I have had a problem with mice coming into my breeding room so i have traps set but i am not catching them. i have this tall plastic square container that i use for putting seed into the bird containers. On the weekend i forgot to put it back into my big seed bin and left it on the floor of the room and the next morning i found 2 mice in the bottom of the container. They had got in but could not climb back out. Last night i decided to put some cheese in the container and leave it out again and see if i could catch some more. I went to my breeding room this morning and found 4 mice in the container. Yeah. Works better than a trap, i can catch more than one at a time.

AWESOME!!!

They are alive still... what do you do with them?? ^_^

The container has a lid on it that slides shut so i fill the container with water and shut the lid. After they had drowned i buried the bodies.

perfect!! ^_^ sounds like a brilliant plan. I hope you get a the little buggers!

I did that once....some of the smarter ones find the most minute airpocket and stay alive breathing air from a miniscule area at the top of the water. :D

They most likely would have jumped in from from something above or next to the container :)
