Well after she began acting like she wanted to breed and laid an egg on the floor. I added the box and two days later an egg was in it and is sitting.

 

But I don't think it's fertile she's not really alowing George to mate with her why?

But also if I take the cover off the cage she wont sit on the egg. Maybe she does'nt like the light shinning through the hole. So I keep them covered but I don't find it fair leaving George in the dark.

the hen do not sit on the egg till there is 2 eggs or 3

 

budgie mate at 5:00 am and all the time your not there

 

it will tack 3 to 5 day for the egg to show it's fertile

she is sitting on the egg though
