My husband had a large garden shed wich I transformed into an aviary ( much to his disgust!) We cut out some of the panels leaving about 1mtr of tin on bottom to keep pests out then covered the rest with bird wire. Then we halved and made the second half into a bird room for breeding cages. My husband then ran sisalation paper along the roof to keep the heat out. Works a treat!!!

Do you get any trouble having the shed that close to the fence daz?

 

Yes I had a lot of trouble. Near lost the aviary a few times. It cost me a lot of money but I was determined to see it through.

the aviry i just built is a 10 feet by 10 feet shed it is really good birds dont get hot

i still have a lot to do to it but cant till i move

cost me 700.00 all up thats the wire the shed screws poprivets the lot

so doing it yourself can be quiet cheep if you shop around its also collourbond cheeper if zinc
