I was wordering if I can get blue chicks from a green pair?

Can Lumina and George my normal greens have a chance at blue chicks?

George my male came from a clutch of all blue chicks One normal blue and two yellow face type 2 oplaline all males his parents were a normal green male and a yellow faced type 2 cinnimon opaline female.

And Lumina I don't know her parents but she and George had a clutch in october last year and got two normal greens a cinnamon normal green and a recessive pied 3 females and a male

Do you think they can have blue chicks?

If his mother was blue, then Geroge is split for blue, so that is needed. It sounds like he is also swpli for cinnamon and pied.

Lumina also has to be split for blue to get young. If she is split for blue, then 25% of the young should be blue.

If they produced a recessive pied before, you know she is split pied.

you don't know the parents of Lumina, so anything is possible, But basically what Dave was saying is, you need both George and Lumina to be split for blue in order to get blue babies... :hap:

If lumina is split blue you will get blue chicks. Both parents need to be split blue to get blue chicks.

Green bird paired to a Blue birds gives all green birds but split blue.

Green/blue to green/blue gives greens and blue birds.

Note: All cock birds are split to a sex linked.

All birds are split to some thing..

You just have to find out what???
