Hi,

Just wondering if it is normal to treat birds with scaly face once a week for 3 weeks? I thought it was a one off treatment or does it depend on what you use?

One off treatment is for spot on ivermectin...other treatments are topical applications of oils or ointments and take much longer.

the vet gave me Air Sac Mite Treatment, doesn't actually say what is in it but I guess it's not ivermectin!

You havent said how the vet said to use it...application...spot on or rub on ?
