Would This Be A Good Pair ?

I have this Yellowface Type I Greywing Sky Blue Cock. I don't know is background (as to what his mum and dad where).

I also have this Creamino Hen. The Hen's mum is an Opaline Mauve and the dad is a Yellowface Type II Greywing Sky Blue. (The dad may be Goldenface, but I still have not gotten that cleared up yet).

These two birds are still just babies, only a few months old, and no where near ready for breeding... but I am hoping that they will be a breeding pair when the time is right. They were two of my favorites that I did not sell because I thought that I may breed them for next Summer (2010).

What I'm asking is... in your opinion is this a good pair? I thought since the hen's dad was yellowface and greywing that pairing her with the yellowface greywing just might get me some more?? Can someone give me the offspring percentages on this pair and let me know if the hen's is actually split for these things because of her dad... and will the splits be enough to make them visual mutations in her offspring if paired with this cock in question?

Thanks so much.

hi crissy the cremino hen is yellow face

yellow face albeno as you are most probbly awer

so if you place the above cock with her you may get grey wing chicks yf 1 and or 2 or plain white face

colours would be as you would expect in any normal blue to mauve pairing or blue to blue

im being very lazy with my awnser as all the expectations are in here you only need to look them up

they are lovley birds and myself i wouldnt pair them but only as if you want yellow face id put yellow 2 to white for best rezults

or for yellow face every time a yf2 and a dfyf good luck oh not knowing his background you could get anything but they would all be lovley all the same mutation wize

she will be a cobalt (one dark factor) with those parents.

He looks like a type 2 like i'm sure i've stated before elsewere here as he seems to have yellow on his wings and patches of green appearing on his chest.

Outcome:

skyblue normals

yellowface type 2 skyblue normals

skyblue greywings

yellowface type 2 skyblue greywings

cobalt normals

yellowface type 2 cobalt normals

cobalt greywings

yellowface type 2 cobalt greywings

all non greywing chicks will be split the gene.

all male chicks will be split for the INO gene
