This is one to keep an eye on. Shannon you know have to make sure that he has all the nourishment he needs to develop strong. The hen can give him that if you keep him with the hen or cock until he is at least 6 weeks old. I wouldn't let him come out of the box until he is at least 5 weeks old.

Very nice chick Shannon, but how come its out of the nest so early. Have you put it back yet ...it isnt fully feathered ?

yes is in the nesting box now

i only have small nesting box
