Posted March 8, 200916 yr hey all i have not being the best prison i am on here is to sorry to all and start again so here i go sorry okay hey my name is shannon i breeder birds so hey :bluebudgie:
March 8, 200916 yr Shannon why don't you come on msn anymore? You don't have to apologize for anything.
March 8, 200916 yr Author my msn has not been working for me i will tire soon any way i got photos of my best budgie has has got pair up to my one of my best hen any way he gave me 4 baby 3 blues and one green here is is hopeing you like he has food on his face for his babys .. and now new pair for next breeding season my spangle pair and my pied pair he is my longes bird
March 8, 200916 yr Looking good shannon, when did you get the pied and the two spangles? Very good. Pied is my favourite. You should pair him with a bigger bird.
March 8, 200916 yr As mentioned to you before Shannon...... if you put a piece of wood on the face of the nestbox, under the perch, between the nestbox and the cage side...you will even up the nestbox so the floor is LEVEL. You said you would but its still the same ? Glue a piece of wood about 10mm thick, or half a dozen wooden popsticks on top of each other to take up the gap. Make life easier for the hen inside and the eggs.
March 8, 200916 yr Shannon, no one was ever annoyed at you. You asked our opinions, we offered some advice, and you disliked our advice. I do hope that everything that occurred is forgotten. I can only speak for myself, but I hold no grudge. I do think you should follow Kaz's advice with the breeding box though
March 8, 200916 yr Shannon, I would like to see you do well for yourself and your birds. This is my only reason for offering you advice to help you. It is often easy to see advice offered as criticism, especially if you are trying to do something worthwhile and others say "do this and do that" . If people didnt care about you and your birds, you wouldnt get people offering suggestion to help you out.
March 9, 200916 yr I agree. No one is mad with you, we are all just trying to help you out. Learning is full of critisizim and praise. It's important to take constructive criticism on board and make it for for you. That's what learning and experience is all about I like Kaz's idea on making your boxes level too :laughter:
March 9, 200916 yr Please consider not using this hen for at least 6 months She is overweight, badly out of condition, her feathers are dull, she has had an illness ( respiratory or worse ) and looks about done to death. By that I mean she looks tired and overbred and not well at all. This will not be fixed in just 2-3 months...she needs special care and building up and room to fly around for at least 6 motnhs before you look at her again and consider her in better condition for breeding. Trying to breed her any sooner will surely kill her.
March 9, 200916 yr Author i got a baby that is 3 weeks old and he cuming out of the nesting box can i just live him out of the nesting box i will post photos soon of him
