March 30, 200916 yr Looks like it was Canker, MB took them to the vet and he did a swab, She is doing the hand rearing (so glad I'm not) Like I said, hopefully the chicks come on and turn out to be healthy and strong. They were so cute today :bump:
March 30, 200916 yr Give the chicks the ronivet S. Its safe for chicks. I feel they need it as they look under the weather to me. did the vet test the chicks for canker too? Edited March 30, 200916 yr by **Liv**
March 30, 200916 yr MB is giving the chicks some meds that the vet gave her, not sure what it is... they were pretty chirpy today when I was there, I took a fair few photo's but most of them were blurry as they were a little excited and bouncing around... I think they thought I was going to feed them... not a chance :bump:
March 30, 200916 yr :bump: okay I was halfway through editing photo's for a post to ask... that's what I thought but figured I'd better check
March 30, 200916 yr JB, I'm very very sorry to hear about your hen. I know they both mean a lot to you. How is your other one going? -Finnie
March 30, 200916 yr I brought the Lacewing home today as he/she wasn't doing anything... I am going to take him/her to the vet this week and give him/her a check up, just to see if everything is okay physically.
