i agree both boys. i think you might want to treat with scaly face treatment or parrifin oil, olive oil just to be on the safe side.

if teabag does not work you can CAREFULLY trim silverster's feathers from around his eye with a small pair of scissors, sometimes it's just the feathers continually rubbing on the eye that perpetuates the eye irritation.

Is using the teabag a one off thing to try to remove the gunk around his eye? Also does it matter what type of tea is in the teabag or am I removing the tea out of it first? Just thought I should figure out what I am supposed to be doing before I do something silly .

You use the tea from the teabag to bathe the eye with...over a few days. If it is just an eye irritation it will go away. If it is more than that then you know after a few days and move onto a better treatment or diagnosis.
