im just wondering if it is safe to use a 20kg bag of sand (that my mum bought a while back from bunnings) in a little show cage off the end of my breeding cage. i found in the shed unopened all sealed up. its white sand %100 washedand screened it says. itsfor kids sandpit as a refill.

would this be okay for the bttom of birds cages?

i now know its asafe to use it in the other breeding cabinets, i normally use newspaper but i think the sand looks btetter
