Well Confetti is finally in with Lemon, the past few days we had their cages together to see how they would react to one another closer together. Lemon seemed deperate to get in there and she seemed love struck, Confetti paid little to no attention to her. Yesterday we moved Confetti over into Lemon's cage and so far so good.

 

She's had a few digs at him and made herself look bigger and taller then him, trying to boss him around cause it is -her- cage after all. But after that she started to kiss him, then had another go at him. But they're getting along rather well considering, just looks like she's telling him who is boss, a sorta pecking order so to speak, but their cuddled up together outside now, and they've been preening one another, its quiet cute

 

So I have high hopes for these too, I know she'll warm upto him fast.

Just keep a close eye on them. When you move two animals in together, regardless of what they are... when one of them 'owns' the house/cage etc... there can be trouble. Watch for trouble and be ready to make changes if needed. It might be a good idea to re-arrange the whole cage with new perches and toys... that way it would seem a little less familiar to Lemon. Good luck with them and please keep us updated.

Yeah, I've added in a few new toys and moved the ones in there around. But their nessled up together to sleep now, I have been keeping an eye on them when I have been at home, and my mum has been watching them also.

When I had my 2 in the same cage for the first time I did it only when I was present to make sure they got along and then during the day then the last stage was night because that is when fights can break out and you don't know what happens. Glad things are working well.

 

How is she looking now....has her scaly face healed up okay ?

Yes! The scaly face has been gone for a few months now. Shes doing really well, but shes going through a bit of a molt it looks like, can see alot of pinfeathers on her head and neck

I will be hopefully early next year, going off of what Daz has told me what mixes I will get with the 2, their babies are gonna be quiet a range..So I am very interested to see what comes from their first clutch.
