Hi! I am new here.I have breeding pairs and all in 2.5ft tank. I got 1.5ft cage for all but they breed in that 2.5ft cage.I got 2 babys from one pair but today I saw one baby dead and other on floor i had removed my small dead baby and kept that other baby back mom is taking gud care of that chick. This evening I saw that baby again on floor dont know what to do that nest box is 1 ft high. I saw that the dead baby crop was empty nothing in crop so is that monther fault?

when you say chick was on floor do you mean mum tossed it out?

and what about other pair are they with chicks

are they all in same cage ?

you arnt being to clear any chance of a photo of your set up ?

If you have other birds in with the pair who have chicks, chances are another hen is throwing out the chicks.
