Here is the ruler picture. i thought it looked a little longer with my eye.

When looking with one eye closed he is 19cm from top to tail.

When using the camera it shows around... 17-18cm

Is that how its done???

okay, he is next to me in the show cage and when i put the ruller next to him it looks like about 19 cm's from top of the head to tail tip

Geez, that seems awfully long.. i must be looking wrong. will try get a picture

He has to be taller than 6 inches mate :).......

LIV has remeasured out of the cage and he is very nearly a ten inch bird. Nine and a half inches anyway.

GB, i believe the standard is 10 inches long...

Hen needs to have mask and spot.

Should also have a good top end. He needs a bit more frontal. The statue is good and and shoulf complement hers.

I would be looking for another spangle or normal that has been bred from a spangle.

I would also think about a grey or cobalt hen.

What do you think about her???

She is a normal grey, bred from spangles. I feel she could be one of his hens as i tend to allocate a cock 2 hens. I wish she were bigger though as she is quite small and she needs to add condition as she is underweight.
