February 8, 200916 yr could be just the lighting but looks like a mauve pied what was mum and dad first chick to me looks to be getting sky blue feathers near tail but as it is a spangle may be cobolt also like second bird which is normal of trate thats my guess spangle one could have clear flights but i dont think so bit young may turn grey not blue taking seconed glance fourth picture pied for sure

February 8, 200916 yr Can't see enough of the first one to be sure - (looks greywing) The second one is a spangle - could be grey Third is a normal cobalt Fourth is a dominant pied (mauve or grey) Fifth is another dominant pied but too young to tell the colour - might be opaline as well Edited February 8, 200916 yr by Neville
