Posted February 1, 200916 yr Hi. I managed to get a few good photos today in the aviary. It can be hard because if one bird moves or makes a sound, they all fly away. I moved very very quietly and managed to get some good quality pictures. Sleep time: Aviary pictures now. Edited February 1, 200916 yr by Pearce
February 1, 200916 yr Very good photos and beautiful healthy birds as always Pearce good job! About the cockatiel in the last photo - he/she is very pretty and I believe a cinnamon?? Looks like my Spike. Did you breed yourself?
February 1, 200916 yr Author Hi Yes I breed him/her myself. I have no idea what mutation she is. Her mother is a pearl cinnamon and her father is a standard grey with yellowface. I think.
February 1, 200916 yr Okay. Looks to be cinnamon to me very pretty. Is that his/her mum in photo no.6 next to him/her?? Is the young cockatiel down from him/her in photo no.6 his/her sibling?
February 1, 200916 yr Author Mother: father: Children: Yes to both questions. All the cockatiels I have are from the same parents. Edited February 1, 200916 yr by Pearce
February 1, 200916 yr Okay. Is the one in question the chick in the last photo in the middle? Very beautiful cockatiels too!
February 1, 200916 yr Author Yes the white one in the middle of the last photo is the only pure white cockatiel I have. You can see the red mites on them. Luckily I got rid of them all. The baby on the right is my favourite. Edited February 1, 200916 yr by Pearce

February 4, 200916 yr Author Thankyou very much all. The babies come in and out of the nest box, when one goes in they all go in and when one goes out they all go out. It is hard to get pictures of the normal skyblue because he always puts his head right in front of the camera lens, he is not shy at all.
