I have to take all of my 8 pups to the vets in a few weeks for the microchips and vaccinations and I need to think of an idea on how to ID them so there are no mix-ups etc. One of them is sold so I want to identify him as well. There are special ID collars overseas on Ebay but nothing here. I thought someone out there might have been in the same predicament and will have some good ideas with out breaking the bank??

When I worked as a vet nurse local breeders would bring their pups with multicoloured 'collars' made out of plaited wool Each collar was a different combo of colours, just keep a close eye on how tight they are as they grow so quick

Coloured ribbons. My sister bought a golden lab and they all had different coloured ribbon colours... cheap as from spotlight or craft store

I was thinking different colored cheap collars and if they are flat you can write pup 1, pup 2, and you can reuse for another litter or give to the new owners.
