Posted January 27, 200916 yr anybody currently use bird vitamins. Well I do and it says 6 drops per 100ml for canaries and finches and 12 drops per 100ml for budgies and parrots. My questions are how many drops would equal a ml because its to hard to acutely measure 2lts of vitamin water successfully so I use a syringe and go by mls 25 drops = 1ml I found out well I hope it is, so I've been using 5ml per Lt for my budgies. Last question do I have to keep giving the cuttle fish bone since there is vitamin D in the water?
January 27, 200916 yr Vitamin D and Calcium are 2 different things, Cuttlebone provides Calcium along with being able to condition their beak by rubbing on it, yes keep it in.
January 27, 200916 yr What type of Vitamins are you using? On smaller bottles they measure by drops. On larger bottles they give the mls/lt. I might be able to tell you the dosage from what I use.
