Posted January 22, 200916 yr I have a large bird cage measuring approximately 83cm high by 82cm wide and 47cm deep. It sits up on a stand. At the moment, at night, I cover it with a sheet all over but it looks awful. Is there anybody that makes custom cage covers and what material would you use? Also, it would need to be fairly dark or heavy material. Any suggestions or offers? Thanks. Edited January 22, 200916 yr by pennyw74
January 22, 200916 yr I just bought a scrap of black material from spotlight. It wasn't quite wide enough, but it's a bit longer, so it does the job well enough.
January 22, 200916 yr You have had some great tips I just wanted to mention not to use cotton towels to cover cages as they can chew them and get an obstruction from cotton buildup in the crop and gizzard.
January 22, 200916 yr If you go to e-bay and type in bird cages you may find someone who makes them if you want to go that route, I found that here in the U.S.
