Hi all,

I went to the pet shop today and bought some split rings, should i write numbers on them to help identify the birds or just leave them as they are. If i should write on them, what do i use?

You wont be able to write on them with the numbers staying on for any length of time. If you bought plastic coloured split rings they are used to identify family lines or split to....like split to lutino, split to recessive etc. Same for any metal split rings. If you want coded ones then you have to join a bird or budgie club and order them through the club you are a member of. Have you worked out why you want rings and how you plan to use them in your case ?
