Posted January 17, 200916 yr first,i want to say hi to everyone, im new here ^^ anyway, i let my bird out today, which i dont do very often. he flew around a little, like he always does, and then he lose altitude and fell between my chair and his cage (small distance, maybe 15cm) and after he walked out, he flew back up again. but, after he landed on his picking up spot (wall watch), he was holding his wings little lower than normal, and after he got on his cage he shook his head left-right every now and then (not all the time), and now hes in his cage, doing the same thing, and he cant feed nor clean beacuse of it whats wrong with him? what can i do?
January 17, 200916 yr there could be a few reasons for this ... But not being a qualified avian vet I can not say. Best is to take him to one a bird that can not eat or drink is at high risk good luck
January 17, 200916 yr Author hes way better now, he even ate and sang a little so no need for this topic anymore, i guess
January 17, 200916 yr maybe he was in shock from the whole episode and is now coming out of it, keep him warm, watch for any more abnormal behavior and if anything changes go to an avian vet as Neat said we are not qualified to diagnosis. Keep us updated.
