Posted January 15, 200916 yr i have one normal cobalt hen ( bluebell) and also am getting a half blue half white pied boy, and a sprangle yellow grey. what should i pair with blue bell ?
January 15, 200916 yr I would put the pied boy with him. Of course, we are assuming here that it is after quarantine, that they are all enough, that they are in breeding conditions. Wow, a lot to think about.
January 15, 200916 yr what colour babies do you want? If you want greens then the "yellow and grey" one, if you want blues the pair the 2 blues... Do you know if the "yellow and grey" bird is split for blue? I agree with Dave, do you know the age of these birds? Edited January 15, 200916 yr by JimmyBanks

Build them up first :thanks:
January 15, 200916 yr I would breed it with the blue pied. You're likely to get a lot more variety in your babies than if you bred with a cock that has more dominant features than Bluebell has if that makes sense
January 15, 200916 yr Author yep makes sence as for quarrentine - they both last month were in " quarrentine" as they were watched continuesly treated for mites scaley face and all the usuals. so im ssure they will be okay as for photos i have none lol so i suppose i should just take there word for it. thanks for replying
