Can you put canaries in with budgies?

no, it is never a good idea to mix budgies with other species because they can be aggressive, some do mix budgies and cockatiels but ONLY if there is enough space.

NO.....not if you value your canaries lives....and especially no if you are thinking about that small patio avairy you have.
