put the picture of your new spangle up shannon. The grey green pairs picture is not showing up either, I like them the best still.

How often are you changing the pairings shannon?

thay dont breed and thay have infertile eggs the grey normal got out of the breeding cage so i had to

why :bump:

What ages are the pairs as I see red rings and black rings. Maybe age is part of the infertile eggs thing ? ALSO you have paired hens who show they are NOT in breeding condition and a cock with a brown cere.

do you know when in 2008 they were born?

yes

they can breed

that's not why I was asking but okay :) If I came accross as if I was checking up on you sorry. I was just curious to know if you wait until they are 12 months or not. Not everyone does. It's breeders perogative in my opinion. I know of people who breed hens at 8 months, I know of some that wait until 15 months...

Nice mate. Like your pieds and pair 4 & 7, the rest are good too but I like them most :)

yep. I believe so dave. :) there are a few members that are doing that at the moment, pairing '03 cocks with younger hens. Dunno how it would go, I would've thought by that age they would be firing blanks so to speak...

Most of them are firing blanks by that age too JB

So....Shannon....any fertile eggs from the red rung birds ???

I am still getting filled eggs from a black rung cockbird 02. Dont breed him much but have used him on pet hens
