I just thought i might add a couple of things which Blinkie likes playing with.

- Little folded up pieces of paper

- The plastic fasteners you get on bread

- A little piece of string

These objects all have provided Blinkie with a lot of entertainment!!! Budgies aren't hard to pleas!

Except mine, he won't play with ANY of his toys :)

Well obviously some are difficult to please..... :)

*I was wondering if pipecleaners would be safe to make budgie toys out of?*

Edited by Bea

i think i would be wary of pipecleaners - some of the little fuzzy bits can come off and get stuck in their throat?

leather string and shoelaces are okay though :)

Okay, i won't use them then. I rearranged Blinkie's cage anyway and it's much more exciting!

IT'S A MIRICLE :D Sparky started playing with his bell for the first time ever :)

its a sign sparky! :) things will start to get better!

:angel1: mabey there is hope after all :angel1:

Oh YAY Sparky! He must know we've been talking about him! He'll be exhausted now!!!

mine very rarely play with thier toys either but they do run around the floor alot, i think they may be playign tag or something (Laughing out loud)

Do you join in with them :)

they fly away if i go by them! :)

budgies can be cruel :)

yeah i have nver noticed a brand name on the seed bells i buy, i do hope they are safe (even though my budgies don't eat them!)

Your budgies don't eat them? :P WOW!!! I get Trill seed bells.

I've never given seed bells or treat sticks to any of my current birds... :o

really?! :P mine like seed bells and honey sticks even more than they like millet sprays! i give them one each about every 2 weeks :o

My outdoor birds love the special treat of a giant seed doughnut!!! :P

What's that? A seed bell in the shape of a doughnut? :D

Opal :D

(Laughing out loud) :D

Never seen that shape before but I did once get Sparky one that was in the basic shape of a budgie.

It's a really gigantic ring shaped seed treat!

How gigantic?

Like a big dinner plate i guess. Very big in comparason to my birds!

i hope they all share very nicely!

mine have to have thier own seed bowl each or they argue, i couldn't imagine them sharing anything!

Actually, i think a select few earn the right to eat at the almighty doughnut!!! :(Laughing out loud): I'm pretty sure they all get some....even if the have to scrounge on the floor for scraps!:D

Greedy little things
