Posted January 3, 200916 yr Hi I am going to make a cage where I put the birds I want to take photos of in. It will have one perch and it will be about the size of a breeding cage. What colour background should I have? Which colour brings out the best of the bird? My camera is not very good, 4 megapixel. I will be using flash unless I need to know the sex of the bird, flash gives me way clearer pictures. Any advice would be great.
January 3, 200916 yr I would say white background... there is a picture here if you need an idea for a photo cage. they sell these as training cages for shows but I think they're a lot like the ones you are describing...
January 3, 200916 yr Author okay thankyou Jimmy, I will get some white cardboard and stick it on the back. Are photos with flash best taken outside in sun light or inside?
January 3, 200916 yr You just need day light. It doesn't need to be outside though... really i would have said black back drop
