Hi All

guess what? nah about oh a bit over a month ago I hear a funny sound coming from under a tree in town. So of course I looked and saw some movement. So i went over there and saw this little brown baby bird. At first Mum and I thought it was a kookuburra but a 'bird man' friend descided it was a dove.

Well I reared it on flour and water basicly and now it eats oats and water. His name is Pidge and he is a Spotted Turtle Dove.

No No sign of Mum or Dad. My sibs and cousin went all over clombing the trees and there was no nest.Well its been a great experiance!Well Heres The picture. this is Pidge! he is on my arm.

shes a bit more wild now as we let her have the run of the area but she still likes her oats in water and fruit juice!
