So much to learn on budgies, i should of not started untill i learn more, but had to take them in a hurry before thay die. cauple died anyway but i still got the baby its about 7 months now the problem is now hes poo is sticking to hes bum it happen sometimes but just flick it off now it is sticking tryed a pull it off but don't want to hurt him so what is the right way or give him somethink in the water, it just i don't wont to loss this one as i have trained him to talk now hes my best friend. the poo sticking only started yesterday, just wont to get in quick just incase. my vet dont do much on budgies. im new to this all. thank you

Its really important that you clean its bottom or he can get blocked up. In cleaning his butt, you can then see what kind of poop he is doing to determine if he is sick. A poopy bottom also with weight loss is a sign of ill health. You need to feel him for weight loss. Is his keel bone sharp ? The keel bone is the bone running down the front of his chest.

He is still playing talking eating and drinking(well playing in hes bath with hes ball.) he look okay to me i dont think he has loss weight. so do i try again to pull the poo from him is there a way to soften it up as i tryed it wont come off.

Wash his bottom in lukewarm to cool water ...............

woops just got home, i care for a few 93yo people im an there call so when thay say just i got to jump.

anyway i gave his bum a clean before i left but it was sticking to feathers but away from bum, i just look he must for got it of himself, but i notice its a bit green with white, so off now to read about why it goes green , so thank you for your help, i will keep my eye on hes poos.

you said a couple of your budgies died, where they ones you bought or bred?

I would like to help you figure out why they are dying too.

Have you ever wormed the birds ? And did they come from a soil floor aviary ?
