I think it was Elly that mentioned Australians being called New Zealanders, Have you ever watched Mcleods Daughters? Over half the original cast were Kiwi's, now that is insulting... expecially when your wife was born in New Zealand and she doesn't let you forget :D

 

I think this thread has digressed a fair way from the original topic, Some people will call them keets, some will call them budgies but to the people that named them originally they will always be "good for food"...
