Just wondering if anyone can tell me how the violet gene affects grey colouring, anyone got a picture to share?

I ahve a young grey out of a violet hen and father grey green spangle, the siblings were violet and Dark green.

Well anyway this grey is much darker than the other greys I have, will try to take a piv tomorrow

I am thinking of putting my violet crested hen to a big grey boy. As greys and grey greens are well known for their size I'm hoping it may help to counteract the small size that cresteds are well known for

Since the Grey is the dominant gene and Violet is an added factor, the violet gene would most likely darken and dull the grey coloration. Do a google using picture of grey violet budgie and some will pop up, I did it some do look accurate.
