December 28, 200816 yr I ahve a young grey out of a violet hen and father grey green spangle, the siblings were violet and Dark green. Well anyway this grey is much darker than the other greys I have, will try to take a piv tomorrow

December 28, 200816 yr i have pics but not at home sorry mate will see if i can get kazzy to post you one but i find that they look almost slate you can sometimes see the violet ting near legs and vent hope that helps for now
December 28, 200816 yr Since the Grey is the dominant gene and Violet is an added factor, the violet gene would most likely darken and dull the grey coloration. Do a google using picture of grey violet budgie and some will pop up, I did it some do look accurate.
