December 28, 200816 yr Hi, welcome to the forum. Just a question before i go any further, are you quarnatining the new ones awa from Bluey for a month and doing all the worming, etc? If you did not and have already exposed him, then I would simply treat them all now like they are new birds, and worm them all together, and treat them all together as if they are new birds, going through the whole quarnatine procedure. As for you birds, Sarah is definitely an albino. In the close up photo, it looks like there is a tinge of yellow there as well. A white bird that has yellow throughout their body is generally referred to as a creamino, but if that is just from some food, then yes, Sarah is an albino hen Your grey bird is a female. Ben is what we I would classify as a Yellow Face Type II sky blue. This means he is a blue bird, with a yellow face, but the yellow has bled throughout his body, giving him a greenish tinge. I would call his colour seafoam green. Others on here debate this, but i think there is some evidence that the yellow has mixed with the blue in his feathers. Some of your pics are oversized so I have had to change them to links. The pics are not allowed to be bigger than 640 x 480. I see they are in photobucket. Photobucket has a feature that allows you to resize them to 640 x 480. If you resize them, we can put them back up as pics. Your birds are very cute, but there are always issues with having an uneven number. I say you should buy 1 more, from the same place, ASAP. Buy a female. Maybe a Lutino - yellow with red eyes. That way, everyone can pair up, as in have a buddy. No one is left out.
December 28, 200816 yr Ben = Normal Light Green cock Cuddles = Yellowface Mutant 1(sf) Sky cock Sarah = Yellowface Mutant 1(sf) Albino hen Can just make out yellow in the face......but as Dave_McMinn says if it is due to food she is not yellowface Grey = Normal Grey Hen Bluey = Normal Sky cock Quote Dorryswife: Now we know Sarah is an Albino cause of the red eyes - is that correct? In this case Yes. what sex is the grey? See above and what type is Ben? See Above

Dave the birds have been put in together (pet shop said that was fine - Grrrrrrr) i will get worming stuff tomorrow and do all 5 - what is the quarantine proceedure? Sarah does have that yellow tinge it was the eyes that i noticed first have changes the size of photoes but cannot edit my first post - sorry for the oversize also thanks for writing that we need another i showed hubby your post and that you are a breeder and MUST know what he is talking about so we are heading back to get another tomorrow Now being Darwin we are limited as to where we can get birds so back to the pet shop we go - with a few words to tell them 2 well thanks again
December 28, 200816 yr If you go to the FAQ section and then type in quarantine program it should pop up, there are a couple of really good ones  It just helps to make sure that none of your current birds get sick. Budgies can sometimes hide diseases and when they are joined with other birds, they become sick because they don't have a strong enough immune system...
December 28, 200816 yr the birds have been put in together (pet shop said that was fine - Grrrrrrr) i will get worming stuff tomorrow and do all 5 - what is the quarantine proceedure? You have learnt your first lesson about petshops...never rely on them for educated advice re birds. Quarantine is essential especially birds from petshops as they put each batch that comes in with the others so there is a potential cocktail of diseases waiting to explode with symptoms within about 7 to 10 days of you having brought them home. Some of these diseases can and will prove fatal to them and any they are in contact with. Might sound like a horror story but we have all expereinced this and can advise you in this way. So, its not just worming you have to worry about. Welcome to our forum....hope you like it here
