Everdinetly when they first discovered the Df spangle they gad a bib like that because Geoff Gardiner was the one who named them and he came here and helped me cull some and he said that's what they looked like when they first named them and he said they were so pretty with the bib but the standard says they have to be pure yellow or white so you get marks taken off you because of the sheen.

Very nice birds splat. I especially like the yellow one up top and the yellow one in the bottom picture, not sure if they are the same though :D I think I have seen him before in one of your other posts. ;)

Hi splat

Is this fellow a cobalt?

And is he opaline? He has big spots and flecking on the top of the head, which I thought only happens with opalines.

Hes also very good.

The 2 yellow DF spangles are half brothers, they have the same father, the blue one is violet the photo isn't showing his true colour and he is normal and he does have a little flecking, if he ever grows his tail feathers back he will go well in the show. well I hope anyway.

The violet and grey green cock have the same father as the Yellow DF spangles also.

Drop Dead Gorgeous.....

I hope you entered a picture in the January Budgie of the Month.

Your results are amazing...I am no expert on show budgie but in my personal novice opinion those are some gorgeous budgies.
