when I bought him I new he was cinnamon but I thought he was grey green.

He looks black on my screen. If he's a cinny he could be grey green as it will wash out his colouring giving him that pastel look.

He is dark but is cinnamon and you right he is yellow face, The judge told me because he is cinnamon the colour runs through. I have a cinnamon sky bue yellow face and she is clear as

I would have said Yellow face type II mauve. Always have trouble differentiating between mauve and grey. As i understand it, greys ahve grey cheek patches, mauve's have blue/violet cheek patches. His cheek patches do not look grey to me, and he defintiely does not look cinnamon to me

His cheek patches are dark grey Dave, his spots are nearly black

I did I put him with a grey cinnamon BIG MISTAKE because all birds were cinnamon of coarse and most were yellow face opaline and yellow through their wings YUK they have all gone, I was going to cull him but Geoff said to put him with a normal next time and see how I go because he has a good head and ect

The colour of this bird fools a lot of people because he is so green looking

i think he has mauve grey under that yellow put him with a colbolt hen to find out not yellow face he is lovley if you do cull him throw him my way would be good for my mauve line regardless of grey green or mauve . lol, :D serioushis cheek patches look mauve bird colour

Find yourselt a nice type normal Cobalt Blue hen. then you find out the following.

1. If he is SF or DF Grey

2. If it is Yellowface or Goldenface as Goldenface Greys usually have a dilute yellow due to the grey factor

3. If he is Sky, Cobalt or Mauve Grey ) as long as he is not DF Grey)

That's a fair hike from here then, I have 9 birds in my cull cage at the moment and adding

Where exactly are you Splat, what's the drive time from Melbourne? At some stage when you have some culls I'd like to come and visit and have a look at your birds
