Hi

I have never used Vetafarm before but I would like to now. I have a few questions.

1. Have you used vetafarm before? Is their any sites that have cheaper products or is vetafarm cheapest?

2. Is this product good for the birds: D nutrical 500g:

http://www.vetafarm.com.au/products/D-NUTRICAL-500g.html

3. Can you think of any other nutritional supplements I should buy from vetafarm while I get this other stuff?

Any help is greatly appreciated thankyou.

I haven't ever used it... may I ask what made you decide to use suppliments?

Why nutrical ? Its designed to use in soft food and not in water. If you are needing a calcium supplement you are better off with calcivet from the same vetafarm supplier.

Hi

Nutrical is vitamins and minerals aswell isnt it?

I thought calcivet is only calcium and doesnt have any minerals in it? the nutrical stuff does contain minerals and vitamins. How else can I give the birds vitamins and minerals?

Vitamins and minerals comes from good sources of food. Calcivet is a top product and useful for babies and parents and also for sick birds.

Vitamins is always just a replacement for a bad or deficient diet.....even when people take multivitamins its because their diet is inadequate.

50 mls is not much ...I would invest in a bigger bottle.

I'm not at home so I can't check, sorry. When I get home I'll let you know...

100 ml is $18.50 + $5.00 postage. Is this better than I would find in a pet shop?

How long would 100 ml last?

Sounds about right, the price I mean

I am going to order calcivet 250ml for $25.00 + $7.70 postage.

Does anyone know how long this would last If I just gave it to breeding birds 3 times a week (6 cages)

Simple maths ..... :laughter:

Divide the dosage in mls into the amount of mls in the bottle giving you the approximate amount of doses in the bottle. Too easy :D

:laughter: I've never used calcivet before so I dont know the dosage. I will try find out, I'm not to good at maths anyway :D
