Does This Beak Look Normal?

Featured Replies

Marina is worried about a little boy I sold her a while back. She can't post the pictures so she e-mailed them to me and as far as I can tell this is something that normally happens with Budgie beaks however have no idea why or what causes it. Can you take a look and let us know? I am pretty sure it is nothing for her to worry about but we all know what Budgie mothers can be like

So just wondering exactly whats meant to be wrong with it :) . Is it the layering of beak thats the concern because I have a few budgies who have beaks like that and I just thought is was a part of the grow of the beak?

Of course I may be very wrong, I don't think I've helped you out here at all, anyone else with any opinions?

Yeah it's the layer/look of peeling on the beak but at least 50% of my guys have it so i just assumed it was normal.
