Hi,

 

On tuesday morning I got up and went outside to feed the birds and the rabbits, and walked into the aviary and I could hear cheeping, and one of my budgies(Pixie who has had a clutch this year) was hanging off the top of the Cockatiel box looking into the hole! So I ran over and looked in the box and lo and behold there was a little critter inside! I am sooooo thrilled! Harley and Shadow are great parents! One baby tiel hatched earlier last week too but was DOA:-( Was hoping badly that I would get a live one! Harley laid 6 eggs, 1 chick DOA, 1 chick alive, 1 egg cracked and had a cooked yolk inside, and 3 more eggs to go! Heard tapping noises in one of the eggs on Tuesday night, so hopefully more bubbas soon!!!!!!!

Thanks **Liv** I really hope the others make it too, but even if they dont, at least I got 1!!! Gotta keep my first baby tiel!! I am keeping my first baby budgie(Squawker) so will keep first baby tiel too!! Have checked on him this morning and still doing well, full crop!

Is it of concern that your budgie hen was looking in the nest box?

I have kept my my first baby budgie and baby tiel too

Whitie was my first baby budgie, she died earlier in the year and she was 14 years old. :rip:

Cocky is my first baby tiel and he is lovely
