Posted December 11, 200816 yr I'm heading to the stockfeed place this morning and hoping to get some recommendations from people. My birds get pink minerals and whole egg in finger drawers but I'm hoping to provide all their supplementation this way as I'm not keen on the idea of forcing supplements on the birds by adding the to the water. Can anyone recommend a powdered calcium supplement that can be fed this way, also any others that are worth getting my hands on... I'm going also pick up some tonic seed which one of my club members recommends which is actually made up by my stockfeed place.
December 11, 200816 yr I also use F-vite and Murphys minerals in finger drawers. http://www.birdhealth.com.au/product/fvite.html
December 11, 200816 yr I use Vetafarm True Grit in the finger draws and flight dishes. Calcivet in the soft food. Water suppliments I use are Iodine and Moulting aid. That is it.
December 11, 200816 yr Author I haven't been able to find a chemist that either stocks or will order iodine forme, anyone knowwhere I can get it?
December 11, 200816 yr Author GREAT!! My produce store sells a lot of horse supplements so I'll check it out.
December 13, 200816 yr I was thinking exactly the same thing Trish... I'm imagining a little tiny chest of drawers that are no bigger than your fingers...
December 13, 200816 yr Author I can sell you some new ones for 60 cents each if you like JB. I'm expecting mine to arrive in the mail next week sometime and I'm getting 80 so I won't need them all at this stage Erin
