December 14, 200816 yr Thats great news. I look forward to seeing the wonderful new arrivals when she lands... I'm sure we will be the first people she thinks of... and then she'll remember to take the photo's You will have to wait until tomorrow I think

December 14, 200816 yr tht is very true kaz they will... do you know how heavy the travel box was with all the birds in? They said it was around 4 kilos which if that was true means we weighed it wrong at the house here or they weighed it wrong
December 14, 200816 yr  how much did you think it weighed?? Who knows.....its hot and my brain is fried....
December 14, 200816 yr Apparently Liv arrived home with 19 new budgies....we went to the bird shop this morning. They were busy so I was allowed to go in the flights and catch up our birds to look at.....they know me there. I got a sky opaline hen and I really liked a grey green opaline cock I saw there...but he was red ring 2003. I mentioned this to the shop owner and he said I could have him for free, so he came home with me. He was trying to chat up the girls in the cage on the way home too, so maybe there's life in the old boy yet. Liv got a couple of nice blue birds :laughter:
December 14, 200816 yr Author Thanks for keeping everyone updated Kaz. It has been a wonderful holiday and I am so happy with all the birds. They all made it home safe and they dont look too stressed considering the day they have had. Photos will come in the next few days - Promise :laughter:

I still haven't taken all of them, and the photos don't show them at their best as they are not in a show cage (still making it up), but it gives you picholics and idea of what came home with me  A young dominant pied cock The Sky blue Cinnamon spangle hen from Renee A Recessive pied hen from Libby A grey Green Dominant pied from Kaz A light green Cock from Kaz A opaline spangle cock from WABC A grey green Cock from Kaz A Grey green opaline Cock from Kaz A Light green cinnamon opaline cock from Kaz A Grey Spangle from Rob Dunstan - here you can see the huge difference a show cage makes to a birds appearance.
