Posted December 9, 200816 yr As you alll know... Gucci and Dolce are my first inside budgies, and I'm finding my 'al cheapo' vacuum cleaner doesn't seem to suck much up, let alone bird seed or feathers. I find I vacuum and much of it still seems to be there... so I'm thinking of getting a better one. ( current one is 2000w and a bagless) I have seen some wet and dry ones at Bunnings, I think they are called Shopvacs? They are on wheels and are often used if workshops etc... Does anyone have one of these and if so do they work... If you have anything else, please let me know. Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance I bought a KARCHER vacuum from my local recycle centre at the tip and it is amazing! I use it for my birdroom and it sucks very well, better than my house vacuum!
December 9, 200816 yr Are you talking about the yellow/grey shopvacs that are chunky and cylindrical in shape?? If so the breeder who hosted our chrissy barbie for the budgie club uses one and he vacuums his entre breeding area and even does inside the cages with his and then just empties the chamber out. Ine his words he "treats it like cr@p and it works great", he recommended we all go out and get one

December 9, 200816 yr Author YOU GUYS ROCK!!!! They're the ones I've seen... They are in the catalog for $69 and $99. The only difference I can see is one has wheels as they both seem the same but I'll have to look at them. We have one at work and it's also treated like cr** and it still sucks!!! lol
