The first night went great, he only whine a few times. I think he realised that whining was not geting him attention.

Before bedtime Jadon was outside playing with him and they have already started to bond. Kasey was following him everywhere and when Jadon stopped walking Kasey just sat down next to him. He is a very smart puppy. When he was calling him, Kasey would come to him and Jadon said "look Mummy , Kasey loves me"

It was really sweet to watch him laughing and playing with his puppy.

Awwww, that's so cute! I'm so happy your son has this puppy! Sounds like they're going to be great mates!! I actually dreampt last night that your puppy whined all night! So glad it didnt come true!!

I just had to post some more pics. Kasey is so cute and my son adores him. This morning wherever Jadon is he takes Kasey with him and Kasey just curls up and goes to sleep next to him.

Jadon and Kasey look very happy together - and so cute !!! I'd be teaching Kasey to toilet on the grass or a "MINI WEE" pet toilet like what I've got now. I'm only saying that because I have a gorgeous little Toy Poodle who is the first paper-trained dog I've ever owned, and if the kids leave anything on the floor she pees on it :tut_tut: thinking she's doing the right thing! It's SO ANNOYING !!! All other dogs I've owned would rather cross their legs than go in the house! Best of luck with your beautiful new furbaby! :laughter:

Gorgeous little pup. The boy looks chuffed with it. Kids and pups- they just seem to go well together!!

 

Its a good idea to wear them out just before you go to bed they sleep better then and realise what bedtime is. Toilet training is interesting, but as long as you read their cues you shouldnt have to many dramas- of course there are exceptions lol
