December 9, 200816 yr Now that you have a picture / plan to work off, I am certain you could make something close enough to that
December 9, 200816 yr Author Yeah but there is the making of part.... it's much more fun to get a big box and go WOW. I think now that I have the new floor (still needs a little work) that I will make something like this for the middle of my avairy but it would have been nice just to go buy one.
December 9, 200816 yr Looks like it'd be easy enough to make. Might find something similar in Aus anyway. I like to buy things to, but when I suggested buying an aviary because it's probably cheaper than making one, he just gave me a funny look and said 'but you'd be depriving yourself of the joy of making one!' They joy of making one... really see I was told that it would be so much fun to do the new base of my avairy and to paint it, how I have a half done base and a half painted avairy and no desire (outside of wanting to move the birds back out to it) to finish! December 9, 200816 yr Just imagine the finish product, you can sit back with pride and say "I made that myself" does wonders for the self esteem
December 9, 200816 yr hmmm yeah I see both sides of the argument... the mind says make it, the body says buy it... I do think that would be pretty easy to make though... a couple of branches that have fallen down. drill here, drill there... stick this here and stick that there... twist and turn... mold and shape... and wham bam thank you ma'am.
December 9, 200816 yr Author Was that an offer Jimmy Dad and I will go branch hunting and see what we can find
December 9, 200816 yr That is awesome!! They look pretty easy to make. I might have a crack at one some time when a good branch comes along
