December 16, 200816 yr Hope the girls are behaving for you  Today my Father in law came down stairs and rang my wife sounding all concerned (He was looking after Taumei). This s how it went,  Tai: "Lisa, umm... something bad has happened..."  Lisa: "What is it Tai?" (Thinking somethings happened to Taumei)  Tai: "Well I just came downstairs and... well... I think... ummm... "  Lisa: "Are you okay?"  Tai: "well... you see... its just... I think somethings happened to the birds..."  Lisa: "Whats wrong with them?" (She knows they arn't there)  Tai: "Well the cage is wide open and I can't see the birds anywhere."  Lisa: "really?!?"  Tai: "Umm.... yes..."  Lisa: (sounding very jovial) Nah its alright Tai, they're not at home, James send them away to breed."  Tai: "Oh, okay... I was really worried."  Lisa: Laughing. "Is that all that you were worried about?"  Tai: "Um yeah. okay... bye."  Lisa: "Bye"

And if you live with Samians thats never a ood thing they'll laugh at your expence all the time... I guess thats why I fit in so well

January 13, 200916 yr How are the pairs doing now? Have they decided that they are going to play? Are they showing interest? Hope so.
January 13, 200916 yr Author Well your spunky spangle seems interested, has spent a fair bit of time investigating the nest box in the last week or so and there are some of her feathers in there too. Our lacewing pairing doesn't seem to be doing much at this stage Edited January 13, 200916 yr by melbournebudgies
January 13, 200916 yr Hmmm I wonder what is up with the lacewing... ahh well... hopefully the spangle pair will go really well
January 13, 200916 yr Author She did have a great bath in her water bowl yesterday though and I took a couple of pics of her with her 'wet look' which I'll put up tomorrow So she's just decided she's having a holiday and why should she let eggs get in the way
