December 7, 200816 yr sounds like splayed legs... sorry to here about that.. luckily a few people have been able to fix that if it is caught early... A quick check search for splayed legs should bring something up... if not someone else will be along shortly who knows how to do it... Good luck!
December 7, 200816 yr You chick has rickets. Its due to a lack of calcium. Needs calcivet to the beak one drop per day for as long as it takes. It may not recover...a lot of them dont. What did you do to be sure the parents had sufficient calcium prior to and during breeding ? If its newly hatched chick, laying on its back is normal. Edited December 7, 200816 yr by KAZ
December 7, 200816 yr is rickets the same as splayed legs? Same leg different horse similar but not quite. Rickets is worse.
