We just bought 4 chooks from a pet shop & garden centre on Morphett Rd Warradale and while I was there I noticed they have some really good looking show budgies for sale. Has anyone from that area just done a cull?

Were they Kososke birds? (Not sure how you spell his name) I know he culls birds there, but I know a number of breeders that do, but none that I know of recently. I have been culling my pet birds there for a couple of months.

Morphett Road??? I used to ride my pushie down Morphett Road... Oh the memories of a young kid growing up in Adelaide...

Yeah they did have a name on the cage like that. They had 3 cages, I think 2 said that name, one banded and one unbanded and then pet budgies in the other.

 

There were some good looking pets there as well, could they have been yours, Sunnie? One grey one in particular caught our eye.
