Hi everyone,

i am Will and i am from Perth WA.

i have had budgies for about 5 years now but never really got into them until recently when i saw various youtube videos of bird socialising and playing with their owners and i thought: "wouldn't that be nice?"

so i was going to bring in my 5 year old bird 'Buster' who i got from a friends aviary.

i then decided that Buster really enjoyed being outside with birds and was rather aggressive so i have decided to buy a young budgie (mabey from one of you guys here on this forum) after i get back from a two week trip at the start of the holidays.

 

anyways thats my story now i will show you some pictures of my 5 birds.

 

 

This is good ol Buster

This is Snowy, a younger albino bird

 

This is Gallute another of the young birds

 

 

This is Cheeky my sister's bird who we got from our friends at the start of the year

thats good to know everyone seems very friendly by looking at the other threads

cool. are there any breeders around perth who sell young budgies at this time of year? (although i wont be buying it untill like january)

Hi Will, I am from Perth and so is member *libby*, xnannax and renee and others. We all have birds to sell off and on. *libby* hand tames her babies. Renee and I breed for show mostly but have some to sell.

Where in Perth are you ? Suburb location ?

We can put you onto other breeders who may or may not be on this forum if we cant help you ourselves.

We are also members of actual show budgies clubs here in Perth and a way better way to get contacts for buying birds than going to pet shops or bird dealers.

WELCOME!!!!!!!! you have some great birds there i hope you enjoy this forum but just a warning ( i hope no one gets offended by this) ITS Incredibly ADDICTIVE! once you start on this site you cant stop thats all you think about is BBC and BUDGIES so i really hope you enjoy this forum and learn things you didnt know were knowable. once again WELCOME TO BBC :sad: i cant wait to see all the knowledge you know to share with us...

thank you for the concern.

i know that rust is bad for them but that is just the old big cage we used to move them from 1 aviary to the other (we just finished making a new one for them) and it is now out as i took the pictures when we had just moved them in.
