Posted December 4, 200816 yr So we are ripping out our kitchen today and the dishwasher was sitting on the patio so tonight I think "Oh got to clean all the dishes" normally this involves getting them, giving them a shake and then putting them in the dishwasher on fast for 35 mins then a dry and back into the cages.... no dishwashers..... took alot longer then 35 mins! Also now dealing with the hen watch, please don't lay another egg issues while I wait for her babies to come out of the nest box!
December 4, 200816 yr Our dishwasher broke recently, so it was straight down to the electrical store to get a new one straight away before the next lot of dishes has to be done. Edited December 4, 200816 yr by Hills
December 4, 200816 yr I hear ya mate... thats straight on the Credit card and hope that there is room stuff... I did enough dishes as a kid and my son isn't old enough yet... Most of them would be broken before they gpt dried...
December 4, 200816 yr I went through that period too when my dishwasher broke, after awhile I go so used to it until it was fixed, then when it was I was so happy, in fact I have read an article that says dishwashers use less water then hand washing now isn't that interesting.
December 5, 200816 yr Geez all you slack people... I remember having a dishwasher until I was about 7 then we moved. Havent seen one since...... oh yes I did- when we put a new kitchen in the old house... it got hooked up the day we left
December 5, 200816 yr Hmmm, something to consider when I build my breeding room at the new place, you can get those mini benchtop ones, the perfect size for cleaning out budgie feeders
December 5, 200816 yr Hahah I LOVE dishwashers I use to be one Until I bought myself one 5 years ago and Now I love washing the dishes Best thing i ever bought ( also the extended 5 years warranty )
December 5, 200816 yr Author I am doing a complete revamp of my breeding room over the next few years. One of the things I am going to do is put sinks in and a corner cabinet and built in boxes (well sort of built in) they are all going to be made by my builder who is good to me. He suggested that I get a small dishwasher under the sink and i am really thinking about it.
December 5, 200816 yr Seriously the littletiny ones work great. My aunty has just her and her daughter and they have one which is not much bigger than a large microwave and it does about two days worth of their dishes and doesn't use much water
